Great Appliance Repair in Stillwater, Minnesota

Great Appliance Repair in Stillwater, Minnesota

While this post is not related to buying or selling a home, most home owners have dealt with an appliance repair situation like this at one time or another so I hope to point you in the right direction to help you solve your problem.

Sitting in the living room after putting the kids to bed I hear the fridge kick on then a second later turn off. A few minutes later it happens again. I walk over to the refrigerator side and open it up. "Hmm, seems a bit warm." I then open up the freezer side. A small river of thawed hamburger water and old Popsicle juice begins to run from the bottom out the front and onto the floor!

I better get on that first thing in the morning. Maybe I can still save some of the frozen food.

At 7:30 AM I begin calling local Appliance Repair shops. "What?! No one is open at 7:30?" On the third call I get an answer from St Croix Appliance Repair. The guy on the other end is helpful and says he can be here between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. "Wow, that's great!"

At 10:10, Jim and Drew Meyers show up. They're both owners and part of the family that runs the shop. They get to work immediately and determine that it is the starter for the compressor. "What a relief!" I was thinking it might be the compressor itself, which would have meant appliance replacement, not appliance repair.

I also ask if they can look at my dryer while they're here. They agree, diagnose a problem that I can easily fix and tell me no charge.

The whole appliance repair experience was great. Fast, knowledgeable, and inexpensive service. What more could I ask for?!

If you live in or near Stillwater, Minnesota and have a need give them a call. You'll be glad you did! St Croix Appliance Repair: 651-325-7651 and www.stcroixappliancerepair.com
